Workshop How to enjoy art X The GalleryLane

The purpose of this workshop is to open windows onto analysing what there is to be seen in artworks. We will be visiting The GalleryLane in Breda for this program. Here, visitors are invited to explore art in all its forms. The gallery showcases both established and emerging artists. The collection features a wide range of works, from contemporary art to unique limited-edition graphic pieces. 

The visit will help participants enjoy conversations about what they are looking at, while standing in front of a painting. This program will help the participants to see the artwork from different perspectives: (1)from a non-professional spectator’s point of view, (2) through the eye of the professional guide and (3) from the creator of the work him- or herself. Combining all three perspectives gives the opportunity for the participants to see more than just one dimension. At the end of the visit we will have a deeper understanding of the artworks that were discussed.
