Stadspodium Breda

Creative people from Breda are helped by Stadspodium with cultural initiatives. The Stadspodium is a stage by and for the city of Breda. Where creative makers, doers and thinkers come together. The City Stage can be anywhere in the city. We get to where we are asked. This can be in your neighborhood or we can invite you to perform at one of our locations, to organize, present and / or exhibit. Curious for more?

What does Stadspodium do?

Stadspodium can help you with your creative ideas. It could be anything. Do you want something with music, dance, visual arts, theater, food, fashion, urban sports, poetry, hip hop, spoken word, clothing/fashion, market, or something else that you are passionate about? We would like to help you!

We support with organization, network, communication/publicity, expertise, locations, materials and possibly finance. We can also make connections with professionals.

It starts with you. What would you like to share? The Stadspodium has already had several collaborations with the city in this way. The neighborhood came together in Brabantpark to set up a creative neighborhood festival. Support was provided for Hanneke Adelaar in her project OPeN KADeR to inspire and activate others. 'Trymaisya!' was also organized to take action and show empathy for the people of Ukraine.

What does Stadspodium stand for?

Experimentation: By experimenting, we can discover new possibilities together with you and give everyone the space to develop themselves or their work.

Creativity: Our goal is to make (amateur) art in Breda more visible. We are creative in the way we work and invite you to share your creativity with the city.

Cocreation: Working together is central and we are always looking for opportunities to support your creativity.

Cultural diversity: Every person is different and every person is welcome. In everything Stadspodium does, we want to make it as accessible as possible so that everyone feels welcome.

People-oriented: Stadpodium works from person to person. It is personal and focused on you as an individual.
