Our Central Public Library gives you access to a large collection of books, periodicals, e-books, audiobooks, and electronic sources.
We offer two different memberships tailored to your needs and use of our library:
Student discount:
Students up to 26 years receive a discount of € 15.00 on our library memberships.
Free child membership:
Anyone under the age of 18 can become a library member for free.
Join our Makersbase
Makersbase is the hotspot for creativity in Breda. Learn how to program your own animation game or make hand-made crafts with our sewing machine.
At Makersbase, we have 3D-printers, laser cutters, sewing machines and much more. Walk in, look for inspiration and talk to our maker coaches about your ideas. You are free to make use of our tools and instruments. Or join one of our communities.
Every Wednesday from 5 till 9 pm our Craft Community sews and saws together. Interested in technology? Join our Tech Community on Thursday, where we program, game and talk out the newest games from 5 till 9 pm.
